Bio: Born and raised in Compton Cali., 40oz. also known as TJ, was an outstanding athlete, and primed to play pro football. He attended NMMI for High School and earned every sports honor one can receive. He was their first black total athlete. It was quite hard and difficult for him, being that out of 800 or so cadets, there were only about five black High School Cadets, and a dozen or so black College Cadets. Racism was prominent throughout the area. TJ overcame many obstacles, and graduated with honors, becoming a top High School athlete. He was a "prop 48", so his scholarship to NMSU was void and TJ had to settle for the saying "back to the ghetto you go." Persistence and confident to play football, he settled for Compton Community College, were there he was also a dominant football player, both on the field and off. After his two years at Compton Community College, he transferred to USC. He was sidelined for academic ineligibility for his first year. He then exchanged his schoolbooks for lyrical notebooks, a mic, and a Emu SP1200 drum machine. From that point on, school was secondary, and music became his mind, body and soul. In the midst of the thunder and fog of 1993/94, he formed the group "C.I.G." aka "Compton'z Intelligent Gangstaz", however, the sudden death of his MC "knoccout" broke the backbone of 40oz.'s group. Soon afterwards, his other rapper fell overboard, and lost his soul as the years moved past. This left 40oz., his older brother Dub"O" aka "POOK DOG", and his little brother "Murder ONE", aka "Baby ROY" , a few shadows, dope beats and an empty vocal booth. These circumstances, a group of producers, and no MC's, moved 40oz. to seek out another angle of attack. So in 1996/97 he roamed the streets and journeyed the roads from Compton to New York, to master his production skillz and stylez. He returned from his pilgrimage and settled in the underground caves and muddy waters, of Compton, Cali., and formed The Hit Camp "Formula T.H.C." In 2002 another death took its toll, and his older brother "Pook Dog" aka Dub"O" died from a jail cell hanging in the Vernon police station. Now on his own, 40oz. has turn to the dead, to resurrect the untouchable Gangsta Voodoo™ spirits. He says, "Let it be known he's a ruff and rugged supernatural producer who can control his own mic". Also let it be known that "D.O.C.U.T.A. 40oz. is fierce, and nothing to fu..k wit" !
